Good Morning!  Woke up around 8 this morning and had oatmeal: 1/2 C oats, 1/4 kashi pilaf, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, cinnamon, honey, raisins and banana!  that combo is just awesome— love raisins and banana with cinnamon! 

Then I made my friend Jen a framed picture of us from high school and I Mod Podged it!  Basically what you do is take a plain old white frame and put back ground color to it using colored construction paper or magazines and then you decorate it with whatever you want!  I gave all my friends one before we went to college- I put their name on it and a bunch of cute sayings and quotes and pictures and things that “defined them” but on this one I just put My name and Jen’s name (using magazine letters) and put one quote- kept it nice and simple: “we all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little bit of each other everywhere”  Then I sealed it with mod podge- this clear glue glaze stuff. there are a few bubbles in it but i just rolled them out and ill apply another coat later on!  I think I might make her a baked good of some sort too if i have time!

noon im going to a spinning class and later tonight I am going mini golfing with my two girl friends and then meeting jen at starbucks!  oh and does anyone know the artist ingrid michaelson??I have been listening to her all morning and discovered that she has a bunch of awesome songs!!  I used to only know “the way I am”.  have a good day!

Good afternoon!  I went to Bikram yoga today- yes the studio actually exists, I was just a dummy and could not find it the first time!  Before Bikram I opened up my LaraBar (Chocolate Coffee Jocalat) and tried it for the first time 🙂


yummm it was goooodd!! had an apple with naturally more peanut butter too and headed over to Bikram!  It was AMAZINNNGGGG!! I loved it so so much.  I was dripping in sweat and bending in ways that I never bent before! I paid 20$ and can go as many times as I want for the rest of the week- pretty sweet, eh?  I plan on taking full advantage of that!  Then afterwards, my sister and I went to Animo Juice, like usual.  This time I didnt get the chilly palmer…I got the Animo MD:


This contained: greens, Orange, Apple, Carrot, Kiwi, Banana, ice, and Spirulina (a blue-green algae with Vitamins A & K, antioxidants, and cholorphyll) ….glad i switched things up because this was really really good!

Good morning!  This morning I had my usual oats but put pilaf in it!


The mix included 1/2 C Oats, 1/4 C Pilaf, 1 C water, skim milk, pineapple, fresh strawberries, cherries, and a banana with cinnamon and honey.  Then I snacked on some grapes and more pineapple and now I am FULL!!!!  I hate being overly full but hey i love fruit and cannot control myself around it!  

Plans for the day = NADA.  Ill probably read more of my novel after I submit this post and go on a 5 miler later and do Shred (I am determined to do either yoga, shred, or pilates everyday!)  Tomorrow Ill take off of working out because I want to go to a spinning class on sunday!

watched the season finale of greys anatomy… Anyone here watch Grey’s? i thought it was good but I hate being left with a cliffhanger like this— I want to believe that Izzie and George are going to live but based on what I have been hearing about Izzie leaving the show- doesnt seem very likely.  BOO.  I hate sad endings.  

Had one of my chobani yogurts (vanilla :)) with some kashi go lean and an orange as a snack during the day. filled me up a little too much! woops!  I went to a pilates class around 630- it was a really really good one!  My core was burning the whole time- maybe tomorrow morning ill wake up with abs of steal haha….then my friend Therese and I went to whole foods for dinner!  I had 2 slices of seduction bread (the guy gave me the whole loaf for free becuase he was closing up and getting rid of things!), a cup of split pea soup (the medium cup), and a nice spinach salad with feta and veggies…yummm filled me up very much!  now im sipping tea and making pilaf for tomorrow’s breakfast and gonna settle down with my new novel! good night!

Went on a 7 mile run around 12:30 ish – 7:43 avg pace per mile and finished in 54:03.23  Felt pretty good!  Had a fig with almond butter before as a pre-run snack.  When I came back from my run…this was waiting for me at my door:


KASHI products to review!!!  On my run I saw the UPS guy driving his truck and thought to myself… “hmmm maybe he has something for me in there!” and he did!!!  Katherine from Kashi sent me a whole box of TLC crunchy granola bars in honey toasted 7 grain, a big bag of Bear Naked Granola- Apple Cinnamon (new recipe), 2 Crunchy! Bars- in Chocolate Caramel and Cinnamon Coffee Cake, and one Roll! Bar in Chocolate Peanut. thank you so much, katherine! I have tasted the TLC granola Bars before and let me tell you they are AMAZING.  They are just like nature valley bars but honestly just 10x better.  I have had the Roll bar before as well and it is great too!!  Its one of those bars that keeps you satisfied for a long time and its so good and chewy— ah! I kinda want to eat it right now haha…. I never had the granola or the cinnamon coffee cake crunchy bar and i cant WAIT to try it!!  will report back when I make my way into these!

Took a shower, downloaded a garmin program onto my Mac, and ate lunch!


Lunch today was so great- definitely got my veggies in for the day!  It included: Ezekiel English Muffin with 1 egg and 1 egg white scrambled with spinach.  Steamed broccoli and baby carrots with a wedge of laughing cow cheese in Light Garlic and Herb– really hit the spot and was filling but not too too filling.  

I am going to make myself a cup of tea, try out the chocolate i bought yesterday- Green & Black’s Organic (in milk chocolate)- and watch the last half of the season finale of grey’s anatomy! WOOHOO!!

Good Morning!  🙂  I went to bed late last night because I was catching up on episodes of Grey’s Anatomy that I missed… and I am still not done!  Just one more episode left to watch and then the season finale!   I woke up around 9 AM to people my mom hired to come clean the windows?  So I was quickly shoved out of my room– kind of annoying but hey I needed to get my butt out of bed! I usually dont sleep past 8.  

I made OATS! with 1/2 C oats, 1 C water, some Vanilla unsweetened Almond Milk, frozen raspberries, fresh strawberries, banana, honey, cinnamon.  With a sliced apple with naturally more- I AM STUFFED NOW! will definitely NOT be hungry until lunch.

This is my desk in my bedroom.  The other computer is a old one I’ve had for years…the Mac is what I bring to school with me and what I now use at home, as well.  My ipod shuffle and camera are connected to the computer. Stop Watch and sunglasses and my new book are also next to the computer 🙂

What’s the last thing you read/are currently reading? Well I just bought Just Friends by Robyn Sisman…I havent picked it up to read it yet but I plan on doing that today!


Do you nap a lot? no not really unless I am super tired


Who was the last person you hugged? umm let me think for a second here… oh!  It was my Dad’s cousin– they came over for dinner and when he left I gave him a hug..that was SATURDAY!  I need to start giving out more hugs haha 


What’s your current obsession/addiction? hmm what am I not addicted to is a better question.  Oatmeal, frozen yogurt from Phileo, peanut butter and almond butter, chocolate vitatops, chobani yogurt, bananas, grapes, watermelon, all fruit actually.  chocolate.


What the last thing you bought? bought alot yesterday. running shoes, running tank, running socks, book, and lunch.  i guess the very last think i bought was the book though.


What are you listening to right now? well I was listening to nothing and then I got to this question and realized that I needed some tunes so I pushed play on whatever was next on the playlist and its “Let the drummer kick” by Citizen Cope— good song!


What time do you usually wake up? around 8 am


Name one thing you can’t live without? My family! 


What time is bedtime? I would say around 11:30


If there was one place you could be right now, where would it be? um Italy or France– my sister is going in a couple of weeks and I really wanna go!!!

WOO!  Busy Day!  My sister and I ran the river like I said earlier- I ran it in 27 minutes– thats about 7:17 miles.  I was doing great for the majority of it until about the last mile or so– I got the worst cramp EVER!!  okay… I am clearly being dramatic here but it hurt pretty bad- i think my stomach was a bit too full!  Okay so before we left for the run- UPS guy rang the door bell and brought me a wonderful present– Chobani yogurt samples!!  Thanks for sending them to me, Chobani!  Greatly appreciated 🙂


inside the box there was 3 strawberry, 1 plain, 1 vanilla, 2 peach, and 2 blueberry!  So far I have only tried Vanilla and plain.  And so far the vanilla and plain are honestly the BEST I have ever tasted.  The vanilla just tastes so REAL!  and the plain is so nice and creamy, AH!  I love it, love it, love it!  I am really excited to taste the others and will be sure to report back on the review!

So after the run my sister and I hit up the mall-The first place I stopped was Starbucks- got myself a grande berry blossom Tazo tea with my gift certificate (if you havent tried this tea run to your nearest starbucks, NOW!).  we went into the Limited, Women’s Foot Locker, Gap, and American Eagle.  I got a couple of t-shirts.  Then we went to Animo Juice where I ordered Veggie Chilli!  Hit the spot!  and my usual chilly palmer smoothie ((Acai Berry, Apple, Banana, Yogurt, and Flax Seed)).  

Then we went to Fleet Feet, and this time it was open!  The kid there was really knowledgeable about everything- had me walk, checked out how I stood in place, and gave me a few shoes to chose from.  I ran outside with them, too!  I was between Saucony, New Balance, and Asics GT -2140s.  For some reason I am really against NewBalance- they never feel right on me!  So I went with Asics (because i currently have sauconys and I wanted to shake things up a bit!) CHECK EM OUT!





The picture of the tongue of the shoe is to show the cool flowery design!  I never saw asics like that before! pretty cool!  And I also purchased a nice pink Nike Tank, really airy and lightweight- perfecto for running in the summer!  And got some nice asics socks- they say Left and right on them– I always wonder if that really matters…hmmm?  maybe ill switch it up one day and see what happens! haha

Then we went to get my sister’s watch that she got for graduation resized and then to Whole Foods!  They had free samples of green grapes and strawberries there! YUMMM – we walked around for a bit and I got some Sundrops and an apple for an afternoon snack. Also got awesome homemade bread to accompany dinner tonight! and I purchased these sweets below:


the top bar is a Jocalat (in chocolate coffee) made by Larabar!  I am so so siked to try this one out- maybe tomorrow???  and the other two are chocolate bars (one is milk one is dark) by Green & Black’s Organic.  Cant wait to try these puppies out either!  Okay so our next stop was Barnes and Nobles!  I wanted to get a summer read- and had a gift card.  I got Just Friends by Robyn Sisman (Author of shopaholic)– havent read a book in awhile so I am excited to check this one out!


So then we were going to go to bikram yoga…CHANGE OF PLANS….I dont think this place exists!!  We could not find it anywhere and they would not answer the phone- BUMMER!!!  but hey- saved some moola- went home and tried out the Winsor Pilates DVD! and it was great!!! i really liked it– My sister and I were saying- “if we do this everyday- our abs are gonna be rock solid!” haha- i really wannt try to do Shred, Yoga, or Pilates everyday– think I can?  I am gonna try.  


Dinner is soon- Momma made some baked chicken meatballs with whole wheat pasta and broccoli and of course my awesome whole foods bread for dipping!  YUM YUM YUM!!!!!
